Program Highlights
Our up-to-date, 10-bed facility at UAB Hospital-Highlands provides advanced testing, diagnosis, and treatment of sleep disorders in a setting specially designed for patient well-being. We’ve been accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine since 1986, and our pioneering work led the NIH to present us with the coveted Sleep Academic Award. If a sleep study is required, most patients receive a diagnosis and treatment plan the morning after the study rather than weeks later. Our team includes pulmonary, neurology, and behavioral psychology specialists, in close collaboration with ENT, primary care, cardiology, and dentistry.
