Unit-based Travel Alternative Program
Details and requirements of the Unit-based TAP position include:
Experience:
Candidates must have two years of experience in the area approved for assignment. Candidates with less than two years of experience, but with 12 months of recent UAB experience, will be considered.
Contract details:
Initial contract length is 12 weeks, with an option to renew for a duration of eight to 12 weeks.
License:
Candidates must be currently licensed as a registered nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing or have an active multistate license that allows them to work in Alabama.
Certifications:
- Candidates must have an active BLS certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification may be required based on area assigned.
