Brian Berthiaume
Senior Director, Administrative Operations, UAB Comprehensive Transplant Institute

Born and raised in Memphis, Tenn., Berthiaume went south to Mississippi to attend tiny Millsaps College and obtain a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in philosophy. After graduating in 2000, he spent the next five years in administrative roles of increasing responsibility at Habitat for Humanity of Lexington, Ky. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he earned a master’s degree in health care administration, and it is here where his first daughter was born.
