UAB Medicine Neurosurgery at Greystone

The UAB Medicine Neurosurgery at Greystone clinic provides the absolute latest expertise and technology for evaluating conditions of the brain and spine. Now part of UAB Medicine, the established clinic is led by Thomas A. Staner, MD, one of the few neurological specialists in the country who is board-certified in both neurosurgery and neurology. He has more than 35 years of experience in micro-neurosurgery and minimally invasive surgery of the spine and brain.

Patients are also seen by Nurse Practitioner Shannon Hall, CRNP, who spent more than a decade working in operating rooms at UAB Hospital and also has a background in critical care and managing chronically ill patients with multiple conditions and complications.
