The UAB Sexual Health Clinic serves patients who need evaluation, prevention, and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs). We offer accessible, research-based, stigma-free care.
Our services include:
- STI and HIV testing
- Doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis (doxy-PEP)
- HPV vaccination
- Hepatitis B vaccination
- Non-occupational HIV post-exposure prophylaxis (nPEP)
- Patient education
Also, the clinic provides oral HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for eligible patients, and it serves as a bridge to ongoing preventive care through the UAB HIV PrEP Clinic.
Hours and location
The UAB Sexual Health Clinic is located on the first floor of the Russell Clinic of UAB Hospital at 1813 6th Ave. S., Birmingham, AL 35233. It is open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 1-4:30 p.m.
