What will I eat while I’m a patient at UAB Hospital?
We offer hotel-style room service to inpatients at UAB Hospital. Your meals will not be automatically delivered unless requested. Instead, you should order from the room service menu in your room any time between 6:30 am and 7:30 pm. Just dial 4-MEAL from your room phone and place your order. A call center representative will assist you, and your meal will be freshly made to order to your room. If you are receiving insulin, please notify your nurse before eating. A family member or friend may also place an order for you by dialing 205-934-6325 from an outside phone.
