UAB Medicine has been named the Official Healthcare Partner and on‑site Care Center provider for the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Park, strengthening a partnership that supports the safety and well-being of drivers, teams, staff and fans during one of Alabama’s premier sporting events.
Under this agreement, UAB Medicine will operate the on‑site care center and first‑aid tent during the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix race weekend and at additional events held at Barber Motorsports Park throughout the year, providing medical support across the venue.
The Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix returns to Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham March 27-29, bringing the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and thousands of fans to the world-class racing facility.
