UAB Medicine is the Best Medical or Healthcare Workplace and the Best Workplace for Technology/Research according to the 2018 Best of Birmingham awards, which are voted on by readers of Birmingham magazine and featured in its September edition. UAB was also selected as Best Workplace for Diversity and was a finalist in the Best Workplace for Millennials and Best Skilled Labor Workplace categories.
