Program Highlights
Magnetoencephalography, or MEG, is a non-invasive neuroimaging technique that helps identify seizure activity or evoked sensory activity, which can be overlaid onto MRI images of the brain to assist with pre-surgical planning for patients with epilepsy or brain tumors. MEG typically is combined with MRI or other brain imaging modalities, for more precise mapping of brain function and structure. Some patient preparation is required, including arriving sleep-deprived for the scan.
