Nurses Night Out 2026

Get ready for the Nurses Night Out event, scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Vulcan Park and Museum.

It will be hosted by UAB Medicine, UAB St. Vincent’s, Children’s of Alabama, and the UAB School of Nursing. Join us for food trucks, a cash bar, dancing, games, and family-friendly activities.

Parking and shuttle service

Free parking will be available in the Children’s of Alabama 5^th Avenue deck starting at 3:30 p.m.  If you are riding the shuttle, walk across 5^th Avenue to the pull-through in front of Children’s Hospital. To exit the deck, press the intercom button at the deck exit gate and tell the attendant that you are with Nurses Night Out.

A free shuttle will be available from the UAB Medicine and Children’s of Alabama campuses to Vulcan Park and Museum. This 35-seat bus will run the following route on a loop from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.:

• Children’s of Alabama hospital, 5^th Avenue pull-through
• Hillman Building on 20^th Street South, on the Blazer Express north/green route
• Vulcan Park and Museum

This shuttle route takes approximately 25 minutes to complete and will repeat continuously during the event.
