In recent years, the oral and maxillofacial surgery field has seen significant advances in areas such as oral oncology and total jaw reconstruction. In this video, UAB Medicine surgeon Anthony Morlandt, MD, DDS, examines various minimally invasive, “free-flap”, and 3-D surgical techniques that may result in less scarring, improved outcomes, and decreased lengths of stay in the hospital.
