Pain Treatment Clinic
The UAB Pain Treatment Clinic at UAB Hospital-Highlands is a comprehensive clinic that offers diagnostic and therapeutic services for pain-related disorders and consultative services related to medical, behavioral and physical therapies for the treatment of pain. The clinic’s primary purpose is to diagnose and treat the symptoms of various chronic pain disorders by utilizing the most advanced and specialized modalities available. The multidisciplinary team combines clinical care with image-guided interventions, physical therapy, psychological assistance, medication, and ongoing consults with primary care physicians. All physicians are anesthesiologists that are board certified in pain medicine.
