The Pulmonary Intermediate Care and Cystic Fibrosis Unit provides care for patients requiring high dependency respiratory care and respiratory intermediate care.

  • Interstitial Lung Disease
  • Lung Cancer
  • Obstructive Sleep Apnea
  • Adult Cystic Fibrosis
  • Respiratory Failure

  • 24 Acute Care
  • 6 Intermediate

Nurse/Patient Ratio

  • 1:4-5 Acute Care
  • 1:3 Intermediate Care

Rotation/Shifts

  • 7a-7p and 7p-7a

Nursing Unit Orientation

  • 6-8 weeks for experienced nurses
