The Gender Health Clinic at UAB Medicine provides gender-affirming care. This highly specialized program is staffed by a team of compassionate physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers (APPs) and offers a range of services that includes:
- Hormone therapy
- Voice therapy
- Psychological evaluation and management
- Management of common medical conditions
- Top and bottom surgery, including breast reconstruction, vaginoplasty, metoidioplasty, and phalloplasty
