UAB Callahan Eye Hospital Clinics Add Doctors in Trussville, Oneonta
The UAB Callahan Eye Hospital Clinic in Trussville is expanding with the addition of two new providers: Jeff Chaiprakob, MD, and John Morgan, MD. These experienced ophthalmologists have practiced in the Trussville community for years as part of Eastern Medical Eye Center and will officially join Callahan on September 7.
“We are excited to have Dr. Chaiprakob and Dr. Morgan join our team,” says Rett Grover, chief executive officer of UAB Callahan Eye Hospital & Clinics. “Their experience and reputation within the Trussville community will be invaluable assets as we continue to look for ways to provide expert, convenient eye care and deliver the best patient experience for those living in and around Trussville.”
Dr. Chaiprakob and Dr. Morgan will continue to practice at their current location until they move to Callahan’s Trussville clinic later this year. They also will continue to practice at their Oneonta location, which will become Callahan’s newest clinic.
“Callahan has a wonderful team of optometrists and ophthalmologists, and we are thrilled to be part of this expanded network of services,” Dr. Chaiprakob says. “We look forward to continuing to serve our patients in the Trussville and Oneonta communities as part of the Callahan team.”
Dr. Chaiprakob and Dr. Morgan will join Elise Agostinelli, OD; Sarah Berry, OD; Hogan Knox, MD; and Mehdi Tavakoli, MD, at Callahan’s Trussville clinic, which is located near Pinnacle at Tutwiler Farm at 1960 Gadsden Highway, Suite 120. The clinic features adult and pediatric eye care specialists, a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, and an on-site optical store.
