COVID-19 Vaccinations

Thank you for your interest in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. Learn more about the vaccine, safety, and other important information below including answers to the most common questions.

At this time, everyone age 12 and older is eligible for vaccination. UAB Medicine provides the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine that requires two doses spaced at least 21 days apart.   

UAB Medicine currently provides COVID-19 vaccines for current patients and the community. The first site is located within the Kirklin Clinic and is providing vaccines to existing UAB Medicine patients. Located on the second floor of TKC, this vaccination site is open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 4:15 pm.

A second location is a drive-through site immediately on the right as you enter the Kirklin Clinic parking deck.The clinic provides COVID-19 vaccinations at no charge to both patients and the community (age 12 and up) and is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 11:30 am.

Another drive-through vaccination site is at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex. It is open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 1 pm. Directions to the site can be found here >>.

Faith Chapel will also host a drive-through vaccination clinic. It is open Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm. Directions to the site can be found here >>.
