- Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage
- Blood Disorders
- Oncology Disorders
Number of Beds
- 25
Nurse/Patient Ratio
- 1:2 is the standard
- 1:1 for extreme situations
Rotation/Shifts
- 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- Weekend only option available
Skill Mix
- Registered Nurse - 89%
- Patient Care Technician - 11%
Nursing Unit Orientation
- 12 weeks for new graduates
- Duration varies for experienced RNs
