- Congestive Heart Failure
- Diabetes
- Pneumonia
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
- Sickle Cell Anemia
- Skin Integrity Disorders
Number of Beds
- 35
Nurse/Patient Ratio
- 7a 1:4
- 7p 1:4-5
Rotation/Shifts
- 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- Modified self scheduling
- Work every 4th weekend
Skill Mix
- Registered Nurse - 90%
- Patient Care Technician - 10%
Nursing Unit Orientation
- 6-8 weeks with previous experience
- 8-12 weeks for new graduates and non experienced RNs
