The Cardiovascular Operating Room provides Cardiothoracic Surgery to all patient populations including heart and lung transplantation.

• Neonatal
• Pediatric
• Adult

Number of Beds

• 8 Operating Suites equipped with the latest technology available

Nurse/Patient Ratio

• 1 Circulating Nurse
• 1 Scrub Nurse (Nurse Clinician-CVOR)
• 1 RN First Assistant

Rotation/Shifts

• Days and evenings 8 hour shifts
• No nights, weekends or holidays
• On call is mandatory

Skill Mix

• Registered Nurse - 100%

• Varies depending on chosen surgical specialty
