Continuing Care Nursery

The Continuing Care Nursery cares for intermediate and convalescent neonates, ranging in gestational age from 24 weeks to full term, that no longer need ventilator assistance. These infants are considered very fragile, weighing in the range of 1 -13 lbs. There is very interactive parent involvement with 22 hours of visitation per 24 hour day.

• 12 hour shifts 8a-8p and 8p-8a
• Weekend only plan

Orientation

• 12 week orientation with rotation to Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RNICU)
