Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit

The Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit provides care for adult patients with acute mental illness. Care is provided in a secure unit designed for the safety and security of the patients and staff.

Nursing Unit Orientation

6-12 week orientation based on an individual’s needs
Experienced preceptor is provided and weekly progress and goals are evaluated with feedback provided by the preceptor, nurse manager and newly hired nurse
