• Pediatric (limited)
• Orthopedic Trauma
• Hip and Knee Replacement
• Spinal Surgery
• Oncology related Orthopedic Surgery
• Hand and Foot Surgery

Number of Beds

• 20

Nurse/Patient Ratio

• 1:5

Rotation/Shift

• 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Modified self scheduling

Skill Mix

• Registered Nurse - 60%
• Patient Care Technician - 40%

Nursing Unit Orientation

• 6-8 weeks
