UAB Department of Neurology

Leading the way in clinical care for a variety of neurological disorders, the UAB Department of Neurology provides the latest treatments for Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and other movement, memory, neuro-oncology, and neurological disorders. UAB’s Neurology and Neurosurgery programs were ranked 31^st in the nation in 2010 by US News & World Report, and UAB was named an American Parkinson’s Disease Association (APDA) Center for Advanced Research–one of nine APDA–supported centers in major research institutions across the nation.
