UAB Health System offers full-service referral assistance through UAB CONNECT, which encompasses Medical Information Service via Telephone (MIST), Healthfinder, Physician Services Communication, and the Call Center. Physician Services Communications enhances communications with and access for referring physicians.

    Physicians and health professionals can call the Medical Information Service via Telephone (MIST)24-hours a day, 7-days a week for consultations.
  • International Services
    UAB's International Patient Services coordinates medical appointments and provides personalized multilingual service during the patient’s visit.
  • MIST
    UAB MIST (Medical Information Service via Telephone) is a toll-free, 24-hour service which connects physicians and healthcare professionals immediate access to UAB faculty, staff, and services.
