Organizational changes continue alignment of UAB Hospital, UAB Highlands

UAB Medicine leadership is committed to increased alignment among its entities and is continuing to integrate UAB Highlands Hospital into the overall management structure and operations of UAB Hospital.

Anthony Patterson takes over operational responsibility of UAB Highlands on Jan. 1, 2010, replacing Bo Cofield as associate vice president and chief operating officer.

Jordan Demoss is moving from his role as assistant administrator at UAB Highlands to UAB Hospital to assume responsibilities for Guest Services, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition Services and Pastoral Care.

UAB Hospital Assistant Vice President Deborah McGrew will add to her current responsibilities oversight of Laboratory Services. She also has responsibility for Respiratory Therapy and the Gamma Knife Program.

Don Lilly is interim president of Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital.

UAB Hospital Assistant Vice President Don Lilly, who most recently served as interim chief executive officer of UAB Health System affiliate Medical West, has been named interim president of Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital while a search is continued for a new president.
