As part of the UAB Division of Women's Reproductive Healthcare, our services range from complete obstetric care to the medical and surgical treatment of complicated gynecological concerns. Our physicians are here for you through your first routine gynecological exam, to delivering your baby, to guiding you through menopause. When you establish a relationship with our doctors, you can carry that relationship throughout your lifetime.

When you choose UAB OB/GYN, you're choosing a dedicated system of health care professionals in a state-of-the-art environment.

Private Care

Patient care at UAB OB/GYN is private, personal and professional. The care we provide is one on one in our comfortable office setting. In addition to our leading physicians, we have a nurse practitioner available to all of our patients for gynecologic services.

Technology

UAB OB/GYN physicians have access to and are skilled in the use of the latest technology. From advanced obstetric ultrasound to minimally invasive surgical techniques, our doctors are on the cutting edge of care. We offer 4D ultrasound, access to specialized genetic counseling, laparoscopic and robotic surgery and more.

Facilities

UAB OB/GYN offers facilities that are unmatched in the state, including our outpatient offices in The Kirklin Clinic and operating suites in the state-of-the-art North Pavilion. With the opening of the UAB Women and Infants Center in early 2010, our patients will experience care in a world-class facility. This will include private delivery, ante-partum and post-partum rooms, private gynecology rooms, and modern technology in a family-friendly atmosphere. Our newborn intensive care unit rooms will also be housed in the facility, providing immediate access to the highest level of newborn specialty care should it be required. The Women and Infants Center will be a premier care facility in the state and region.

Specialists

Should the need arise, physicians in UAB OB/GYN have immediate access to specialists and sub-specialists, no matter the condition. From infertility and high-risk pregnancies to female incontinence and gynecologic cancers, some of the best medical minds in the country are available to us as soon as their expertise is needed. This means a decreased wait time for our patients, and seamless transition from your primary care physician to your specialist.
